Thank you for that and for such a wonderful stay with you over winter. Without a doubt the best spot on the south coast, I have never been to a marina where you have been made to feel so welcome and part of the community, from our initial enquiries and arrival through to departure it has been first class. Not being ripped off or treated as a cash cow was also very refreshing, I feel we got real value for money; I have sailed for over 30 years and been a boat owner for 15 and this is the first time I have ever been able to say that. Origo really enjoyed her rest as well, no chafe on the lines and fenders virtually untouched, gently cradled in the soft mud and warm all winter. Needless to say my cheque is in the post and we are really looking forward to being with you again this November.

We much appreciated the high level of service and friendliness from all staff and this made the 3-4 weeks of hard work all the more enjoyable , even though we were based there rather longer than planned. "I knew we had made the right decision to come round to Thornham Marina when we were met at the waiting pontoon by your yard staff to help us into the pool. Full marks to Cliff and Dave who treated Tara with care and professionalism from reception through haul out and finally helping us back out into the channel on our way home. the marina is in a great location with some well stocked chandleries close by and a first rate marine engineer on site. The deal you offered for the 30 day lay-up was very good and we especially appreciated the courtesy cab ride back home to base to pick up our car.
When you asked how you might improve things, I couldn't immediately give you an answer, but having had a chance to ponder I can only say DON'T CHANGE A THING. We will definitely be back next year and in the meantime I will spread the word." Chris Jackson, TARA of Gosport
